My Wii is not working on the ResNet network. Why is that?
We have found that many Nintendo Wiis do not have the necessary software updates (i.e. the Internet Channel) in order to get onto our network when they first come to campus. The process to update is simple, usually only requiring about 30-minutes, but it is not something you can do in your dorm room since the Wii doesn't have access to the internet yet. If you call the STC office we can set up temporary access for your device to install the necessary updates and get it working on the network.
