What is required to pass SafeConnect?
PC
For PC Computers, you must have an installed, updated, and actively running anti-virus program,
have all Windows updates and security patches installed, and you must configure
Windows update to automatically download and install any new updates that become
available.
Mac
Mac computers will be required to have the policy key installed but you will not be required to adhere to any additional security
precautions (i.e. it is not required that you have an anti-virus program
installed, but it is
recommended).
Other
All other operating systems and devices will be recognized for what they are and be given internet access.
A gaming device or a computer running the Linux operating system will not be
required to be install the policy key but they might be required to login.
